Possible ruins of Indraprastha
- Wants to marry Arjuna
- Abducted by Arjuna so they could marry
Balarama - older brother of Krishna
- did not approve of Subhadra marrying Arjuna at first
- wanted to attack Indraprastha and save Subhadra until Krishna explained that Arjuna and Subhadra were actually in love
- approved of their marriage after that
Draupudi - Wife of the Pandavas
- eventually approved of Arjuna marrying Subhadra after getting to know her and liking her
- refused to appear as a slave to the court, but was dragged out
- protected in the court by Krishna
Abhimanyu - son of Arjuna and Subhadra
- maintained all the knowledge of war Arjuna told Subhadra while she was pregnant with him
- never learned all the information he needed to escape the 7th circle of the chakravyuh because his mother fell asleep while his father told her about it
- trained by Pradyumna, Krishna's cousin, and Arjuna
Narad - sage
- predicted that the Pandavas should be married to Draupadi one at a time and that Yudhishthir should do a Rajasuya Yagya, a fire ritual, so that their relatives who have died will be treated well by Indra
Yudhishthir - eldest Pandava
- worried about doing the yagya because it would leave the kingdom unprotected from rival leaders
- convinced by Krishna that he should defeat Jarasandh before doing the yagya
- crowned emperor during the yagya
- lost his treasury of gold, silver, and jewels; wealth; chariot; army; horses; and his kingdom to the Kauravas in the game of dice orchestrated by Duryodhana
- then bet his brothers and lost them
- then lost himself to the Kauravas
- finally lost Draupadi to the Kauravas to serve as maid
Jarasandh - king Magadh who hated the Pandavas
- held many kings captive to gain power
- torn in two by Bhima in a 13 day long battle
- came back to life after the two pieces came back together
- finally defeated when Bhima threw the two pieces far away from each other
Shishupal - king of Chedi
- hates Krishna because Krishna married Rukmini
- very angry when Krishna given the honors at the yagya and insulted Krishna and the Pandavas
- Krishna agreed to pardon 100 of his insults with SHishupal's mother
- killed by Krishna after insulting him more than 100 times during the yagya
- very jealous of Yudhishthir's crowning as emperor
- embarrassed when he mistook a crystal floor for a pool and then a pool for a crystal floor
- Draupudi laughed at him when he fell in the pool
Shakuni
- very good at playing dice
- came up with a plan to get Yudhishthir to bet his kingdom on a game of dice
Dhritarashtra
- gave his blessing to Shakuni's plan
